Just as I post the piece about sub-networks within a P2P network, I read this article on a new P2P social networking and file-sharing service called Qnext, which "allows you to create private, shared environments called Zones where invite other users to securely share your content and online services."

My favorite service is Qnext Photo Sharing. It is easy to create your own online photo galleries, using peer-to-peer and peer to Web photo sharing. Qnext presents the ability to classify photos into albums, enabling the user to share them with friends, upload and display of images. Qnext consumers can make different groups of sharing (everyone, friends, etc) and set secure access permissions to them. Ability to manipulate the look of photos list (small/ large/ medium/ huge thumbnail), details view (name, file size, date, dimensions).
It is not necessary to download photos, using Qnext Webcasts. Only attend Qnext Webcasts or open the URL, sent from your friend and you will see the photos that he has shared. Qnext Webcasts visualizes a chronological view of user-selected medium-sized photos. Facilities to run slideshow of chosen photos, zoom, rotate, pan and resize photo images in viewer window. You can download photos with full resolution, search photos and albums and quickly stream high resolution images.
